Γροιλανδία όπως εταιρεία προς πώληση

Στο ενδιαφέρον του Τραμπ να αγοράσει τη Γροιλανδία, η πρωθυπουργός της Δανίας απάντησε «Η Γροιλανδία δεν είναι προς πώληση. Η Γροιλανδία δεν ανήκει στη Δανία. Η Γροιλανδία ανήκει στους Γροιλανδούς. Πιστεύω ολόψυχα πως δεν το εννοεί σοβαρά».
Και φυσικά δείχνει παράλογη μία τέτοια πρόταση. Η ιδεολογία όμως της καπιταλιστικής ιδιοκτησίας μας κάνει να μην θεωρούμε παράλογο την πώληση μιας εταιρείας. Γιατί να μην δούμε την εταιρεία ως κάτι που ανήκει στους ανθρώπους της; Όπως η Γροιλανδία ανήκει στους Γροιλανδούς έτσι και η εταιρεία ανήκει στους εργαζομένους της. Με αυτόν το σκεπτικό δίνεται η ευκαιρία να συζητηθεί τι είναι πραγματικά μια οικονομική επιχείρηση ως κοοπερατίβα. Ακολουθεί διευκρινιστικό απόσπασμα από David Ellerman

They asked rhetorically, “How can a country or even a city in a country be bought and sold?” But they consider buying and selling the human organizations called “companies” as perfectly normal. Then they, like Trump, ask rhetorically, ‘Where is it that property cannot be bought and sold?’ «
